Interview Assessment

This week I wrote my fourth Interview Assessment and my Original Work Proposal. I am very excited to begin the process of creating my original work. This is great opportunity for me to use and compile all that I have learned this year and last year. Additionally, I will be able to learn more about how a psychologist conducts therapy. I have learned a lot about different disorders and their symptoms but my knowledge is lacking in the area of therapy methods and specific techniques of treatment. This project will give me an interesting way to learn about therapy and I am very excited to begin working. I will create my original work log and begin logging hours in the coming weeks. This week I also wrote an assessment over my fourth interview. Writing my assessment helped me evaluate what I learned from my interview with Dr. Avila and review my notes. Our interview gave me insight into how a psychologist treats disorders such as PTSD and DID. This process is very interesting to me and I would like to learn more about the specific methods of therapy used to treat these disorders. In the next couple of days I will write my research speech and present of Friday. I will also make my display board plan.
